Wildly Flowering DSP Card

Card Measurements, Supply List, and printable PDF tutorial for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

For this week’s Global Design Project CASE the Designer challenge we are CASEing a lovely card from Krista Frattin. I used the retired Notes of Natures dies (I hadn’t realized that these dies had retired. I totally missed moving them in the reorganization), the same dies that Krista had used to create her card. I chose to use the Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper instead of the Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper she used. You can watch my Facebook Live replay on my Facebook Page here or watch on my YouTube Channel below.

WILDLY FLOWERING 12″ X 12″ DESIGNER SERIES PAPER
$12.50

Start with a Crumb Cake cardstock card base. Cut the two Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper panels. Use the notebook edge die from the Notes of Nature dies to die cut the right side of the smaller Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the die cut Designer Series Panel to the larger Designer Series Panel slightly askew. Wrap the panels with white Baker’s Twine twice and tie a bow on the left side of the panels. Glue the wrapped panels to the card base.

Die cut Mossy Meadow cardstock leaves with the Notes Of Nature dies. Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment panel and a Moody Mauve cardstock sentiment strip layer. Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Zinnia stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on the Basic White cardstock sentiment panel.

Add the die cut leaves to the card front with glue slightly tucked under the Baker’s Twine down the right side of the card front. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the Moody Mauve strip under the wrapped ribbon and slightly overlapping the leaves. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue dots to add the stamped sentiment panel to the card front overlapping the Moody Mauve cardstock strip and the wrapped ribbon. Add Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls to the card front and the sentiment panel.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink and add a strip of Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

I hope you enjoyed my #GDP448 Wildly Flowering DSP card. You can order the Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper, the Simply Zinnia stamp set, and the Simply Said stamp set in my Online Store.
