Stash Sundays – Camelot

It’s Sunday and I am using the fabulous retired Camelot stamp set. This is actually a stamp set from my Bestie’s stash that is sort of on ‘loan’…lol. My daughter loves it and good news – there is an awesome new Unicorn stamp set in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog! I also just got my Everything is Rosy Product Medley – so I’m totally combining them to make today’s card.

Camelot stamp set from page 109 Idea Book & Catalog 2002-2003

Start with a Night of Navy cs card base. Cut an Everything is Rosy DSP panel. Cut out a scalloped circle with the largest scalloped oval from the Layering Circles dies from the middle of the DSP to use on a future project.

Cut a panel from the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper. Using a paint brush and a small amount of rubbing alcohol (instead of water) paint the panel with the Rose Gold Shimmer Paint. Let it dry and then use the Detailed Trio punch to round the corners.

Stamp the unicorn image from the Camelot stamp set with Memento Black ink on Shimmery White paper. Cut out the image with Layering Circles dies (largest oval). Color the unicorn with the Stampin’ Blends, Markers, and Rose Gold Shimmer paint. Add Wink of Stella to the unicorn’s eye for sparkle. Use the back end tip of the paint brush or other small ended tool and add dots of Rose Gold to the Shimmery White paper around the unicorn image. Use scotch tape to attach the Shimmery White image to the back of the Everything is Rosy DSP so the image shows through the scalloped oval and then glue it to the card base. Then glue the painted Laser-Cut oval to the Everything is Rosy DSP lining up the oval over the scalloped DSP oval.

Add Rose Gold Shimmer paint dots to the centers of a large and a small Everything the Rosy flower cut outs. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the flowers around the top of the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut paper oval.

Stamp the sentiment from the Everything is Rosy stamp set in Night of Navy on Shimmery White paper and then cut it out with an oval from the Layering Oval dies. Attach two small ribbon pieces from the Everything is Rosy Product Medley with glue dots to the back of the sentiment oval. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the sentiment oval to the bottom of the oval. To finish the card front add dots of Rose Gold Shimmer paint to the sentiment oval.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White inside panel to write your message. I added strips of Everything is Rosy DSP to the inside panel and back of the card to pull the theme through.
