Potions & Spells Kitty Card

New Online Exclusives were added to the Online Store this month including a few fabulous Halloween stamp sets. I used the kitty image from the Potions & Spells stamp set to create a non-Halloween card for the Global Design Project #GDP454 sketch challenge.

Start with a Basic Gray cardstock card base. Cut a Lost Lagoon cardstock panel and a Country Woods Designer Series Paper panel. Dry emboss the Lost Lagoon cardstock panel with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder. Glue the Country Woods Designer Series Paper panel to the embossed panel.

Die cut a large Basic White cardstock circle with the Spotlight In Nature dies. Stamp the kitty image from the Potions & Spells stamp set in Memento Black ink on the die cut circle. Color the kitty image with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of stella for sparkle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the colored die cut circle to the panels. Wrap the panels and circle with White Frayed Grosgrain ribbon using Tear & Tape to secure the ribbon’s ends to the back of the panels.

Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment panel and stamp the sentiment from the Wildflower Designs stamp set in Memento Black ink on the panel. Die cut Lost Lagoon cardstock leaves and sprigs with the Country Flowers dies. Dry emboss the leaves and sprigs with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment panel across the die cut circle overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Use glue & glue dots to add and tuck the embossed leaves & sprigs around the edges of the sentiment panel. Add

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add a strip of Designer Series Paper, stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Memento Black ink, and add embossed leaves & sprig to inside & back of the card to pull the theme through.
