Pair of Flowering Zinnias DSP Thanks Cards

Card Measurements and Supply List for these projects are found beneath each card.

New Online Exclusives were recently added to the Online Store – a lovely mix of seasonal themed products – but I reached for the bright flowers of the Online Exclusive Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper to make these lovely but easy Thanks cards. I used the sentiments from my favorite ‘must have’ Annual Catalog set, Simply Said and the fun Online Exclusive Zinnia 3D embossing folder. Both the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper and Zinnia 3D embossing folder are listed as ‘Low Inventory’ which may mean that once they’re gone they might not be restocked.

Card 1:

Start with an Old Olive cardstock card base. Cut a Blackberry Bliss cardstock panel and a Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the panels together and wrap the panels with Iridescent Striped Trim using Stampin’ Seal to secure the Trim’s ends to the back of the panels. Glue the wrapped panels to the card base. Add Wink of Stella to the flowers for sparkle.

Fussy cut out Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper flowers & leaves with paper snips. Add Wink of Stella to the flowers for extra sparkle. Use glue dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the flowers & leaves to the bottom right of the card front tucked under & overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp said in Memento Black ink on the sentiment panel. Angle both ends of the sentiment with paper snips and use glue dots & Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment to the right of the fussy cut flowers and slightly overlapping the flowers & wrapped ribbon. Tie a small bow with the Iridescent Striped Trim and use glue dots to add it above the top left corner of the sentiment overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Add Adhesive-Back Shiny Sequins to the card front.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add a strip of Designer Series Paper and stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Memento Black ink on the inside & back of the card to pull theme through.
