Painted Lavender Sneak Peek Card

For this week’s Global Design Project color challenge I used my new January-April 2024 Mini Catalog Painted Lavender stamp set. This lovely set will be available in my Online Store starting January 4th.

Card Measurements and Supply List for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

Start with a Lemon Lime Twist cardstock card base. Die cut a Pool Party cardstock panel. Die cut a Vellum cardstock postage rectangle and a Basic White cs postage rectangle with the Perennial Postage dies.

Stamp the flowers image from the Painted Lavender stamp set in 1st and 2nd Generation (stamped off) Lemon Lime Twist ink across the bottom of the Basic White cardstock Postage rectangle. Stamp the flower overlay image from the Painted Lavender stamp in 1st and 2nd Generation (stamped off) Poppy Parade ink on the stamped flower images. Stamp the butterflies image from the Painted Lavender stamp set in Pool Party ink above the built flowers on the card front. Stamp the sentiment from the Perennial Postage across the top of the Basic White cardstock postage rectangle. Add the stamped Basic White cardstock postage rectangle to the Vellum cardstock with Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue them to the Pool Party cardstock panel. Wrap the left corner with the Pool Party Grosgrain ribbon using Tear & Tape to secure the ends on the back of the panel. Glue the wrapped Pool Party cardstock panel to the card base. Add Wink of Stella to the flowers and butterflies for sparkle. Tie a small bow with the Pool Party Grosgrain ribbon and use glue dots to attach it over the top left corner of the card front and wrapped ribbon. Add Iridescent rhinestones to the card base for extra sparkle.

Add an inside cardstock panel to write your message. Stamp the flowers image from the Painted Lavender stamp set in 1st and 2nd Generation (stamped off) Lemon Lime Twist ink at the bottom of the Basic White cardstock inside panel. Stamp the flower overlay image from the Painted Lavender stamp in 1st and 2nd Generation (stamped off) Poppy Parade ink on the stamped flower images. Stamp the butterflies image from the Painted Lavender stamp set in Pool Party ink above the built flowers on the inside panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Perennial Postage stamp set in Poppy Parage on the inside panel.

I hope you enjoyed my #GDP421 Painted Lavender Sneak Peek card. You can order the Painted Lavender stamp set and the Perennial Postage bundle in my Online Store starting January 4th.

  1. Lovely card. I especially like that you stamped all the flowers and butterflies.

  2. This is so pretty Christy and I don’t normally see these colours together but I love it!
