Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop October 2019 – Christmastime Is Here Suite

Hi! Welcome to Christy’s Stamping Spot. I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator from Arizona, USA. Today, I’m excited to be taking part in Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop.

Today I have a sneak peek of the new Christmastime Is Here Suite. This is a gorgeous suite of products that includes a Disinktive double configuration stamp set (includes both a red rubber cling and photopolymer stamps), coordinating dies, Specialty Designer Series Paper, and matching gold embellishments. If you love roses – this winter themed rose suite will be a beautiful addition to your collection. You can watch the the Facebook Live replay of how to make this card here or on my YouTube channel here.

Start with a Mossy Meadow cs card base. Cut a Cherry Cobbler cs and Early Espresso cs panels. Dry emboss the Cherry Cobbler cs panel with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. Dry emboss the Early Espresso cs panel with the 3D Pinewood Planks. Remember that if you are using new style 3D embossing folders you need to use the 3D Embossing Folder Plate to get the best impression. Use glue to adhere the embossed Cherry Cobbler cs panel to the embossed Early Espresso cs panel – I turned the panels over on the card base to be sure that when I glued the Cherry Cobbler cs/ Early Espresso cs together that combined they were 5 1/4″.

Wrap the Cherry Cobbler cs/ Early Espresso cs panel with the Gold 1/4″ Shimmer ribbon across the transition and then use Tear & Tape to secure the ends on the back of the panel. Use glue to adhere the wrapped panel to the card base.

Die cut the large rose image from the Christmastime Is Here SDSP with the Roses Dies. Die cut Vellum cs sprigs with the Feels Like Frost dies. Use glue dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the die cut rose image and Vellum cs sprigs to the top right of the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon.

Cut the Whisper White cs sentiment panel, stamp the sentiment from the Christmas Rose stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink, and then round the corners with the Detailed Trio punch. Use glue to adhere the stamped Whisper White cs panel tucked slightly under the large rose image on the left side of the card front.

Make a small bow with the Gold Shimmer ribbon and use glue dots to adhere it to the large rose image where it overlaps the wrapped ribbon. Add Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to the card front.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside layer to write your message. I also added the sentiment to the inside panel and back of the card to pull the theme through.

I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek of the Christmastime Is Here Suite. This fabulous group of products will be available for Customers starting November 1st in my Online Store.
