Inspirations In Ink June 2024 Sketch Layout

For this month’s blog hop and June’s PDF Tutorial we are doing something a little different, a Sketch Layout. The fun of a sketch layout is that so many themes & stamp sets can shine. For my sketch layout blog hop card I used the gorgeous new 2024-2025 Annual Catalog Citrus Blooms bundle with the coordinating Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper. I also used the versatile Everyday Details dies and the lovely Eyelet 3D embossing folder to create my card.

Start with a Garden Green cardstock card base. Cut a Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper panel and a Garden Green cardstock strip. Dry emboss the Garden Green cardstock strip with the Eyelet 3D embossing folder. Glue the embossed strip down the left side of the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper panel and then glue them to the card base.

Die cut a Basic White cardstock rectangle with the largest rectangle die from the Everyday Details dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Citrus Blooms stamp set in Garden Green ink on the bottom right of the die cut rectangle. Glue the stamped die cut rectangle to the card front overlapping the embossed strip and Designer Series Paper panel.

Stamp the largest orange cluster image from the Citrus Blooms stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Color the image with Stampin’ Blends (I blended the Light Old Olive & Dark Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends to create the leaves). Die cut out the colored orange cluster image with the Citrus Blooms dies. Add Wink of Stella to the flowers for sparkle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the die cut colored orange cluster image to the card front overlapping the top of the die cut sentiment rectangle, the embossed strip, and Designer Series Paper panel. Tie a small bow with white Baker’s Twine and use glue dots to add the bow to the top of the orange cluster image. Add Daffodil Delight rounds from the Opal Rounds Assortment pack to the card front around the orange cluster image.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add a strip of Designer Series Paper and stamp the sentiment from the Citrus Blooms stamp set in Garden Green ink to the inside & back of the card to pull the theme through.

I hope you enjoyed my Inspirations In Ink: Sketch Layout Blog Hop card with the Citrus Blooms bundle. You can order the Citrus Blooms bundle, the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper, the Eyelet 3D embossing folder, and the Everyday Details dies in my Online Store.
