Inspirations In Ink: Color Combo Blog Hop Card

Welcome and Thank you for visiting Christy’s Stamping Spot! I’m Christy, an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Southern Arizona, USA. I’m excited to be taking part in the Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop with this fabulous group of Demonstrators!

Card Measurements and Supply List for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

For this month’s blog hop and July’s PDF Tutorial we are continuing with trying something new, a Color Combo. We are using the summery color combination of Blueberry Bushel, Lemon Lolly, and Granny Apple Green to create our cards. I used the lovely Country Flowers stamp set with the Wildflower Designs dies, and the Dotted Circles 3D embossing folder to create my card.

COUNTRY FLOWERS PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET (ENGLISH)

Start with a Granny Apple Green cardstock card base. Cut a Blueberry Bushel panel and a Lemon Lolly cardstock panel. Dry emboss the Lemon Lolly cardstock panel with the Dotted Circles 3D embossing folder. Glue the panels together and then glue them to the card base.

Die cut a Basic White cardstock stitched label with the Wildflower Designs dies. Stamp the teapot image and flower image from the Country Flowers stamp set in Memento Black ink in the middle of the stitched label (I used my stamping positioning tool). Color the flower and leaves with Stampin’ Blends. Add Wink of Stella to the flowers for sparkle. Die cut a Granny Apple Green cardstock scalloped frame with the Wildflower Designs dies. Use glue to add it to the stitched label around the stamped & colored images. Then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the built stitch label to the center of the card front.

Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment banner. Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Memento Black on the banner and then flag the end with paper snips. Add the sentiment banner to the card front overlapping the teapot handle with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tie a small double bow with white Baker’s Twine and use glue dots to add it to the top corner of the sentiment banner. Add Flat Adhesive Backed Pearls to around the flowers.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add an embossed Lemon Lolly cardstock strip and stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Memento Black ink to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

I hope you enjoyed my Inspirations In Ink: Color Combo Blog Hop Card card. You can order the Country Flowers stamp set, the Wildflower Designs dies, the Dotted Circles 3D embossing folder, and the Simply Said stamp set in my Online Store.
