This week the Global Design Project is CASEing a gorgeous card by Manuela Geiswinkler from Austria. I thought the upcoming Christmastime is Here Suite would work lovely to recreate her design.
CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit
Start with a Mossy Meadow cs card base. Dust the front panel of the card base with the Embossing Buddy. Stamp the sentiment and dots from the Christmas Rose stamp set in the Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic ink, add the Gold embossing powder, tap off the excess, and melt with the Heat Tool. Add a few more dots with the Golden Glitz ink and let dry (so that a few are not embossed to give a variation in gold color).
Cut the Cherry Cobbler cs panel and the Chrismastime is Here SDSP panel. Glue the SDSP panel to the Cherry Cobbler cs panel. Cut a small piece of Gold Shimmer ribbon, loop it and use glue dots to attach it to the lower right side of the panels. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the panels to the card front above the sentiment slightly off center to the right.
Fussy cut out a large floral image from the Christmastime is Here SDSP and glue it to the card base on the Cherry Cobbler cs/SDSP panels with a bit of the image going off the edges of the panel.
Don’t forget to add an Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message.
I embossed the sentiment from the Christmas Rose stamp set with the Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic ink & Gold embossing powder and fussy cut out an edge image from the Christmastime is Here Specialty DSP to pull the theme through.
