Global Design Project 202 – Sketch Challenge

This week’s Global Design Project it a fun sketch challenge. I have been loving my 2019 Holiday Catalog Halloween goodies and decided to use the Wonderfully Wicked Bundle that will be available September 4th for my card.

The Upcoming 2019 Holiday Catalog Wonderfully Wicked Bundle

Start with Rococo Rose cs card base. Use a sponge dauber to add Rococo Rose ink to the card base edges. Cut a Monster Bash DSP panel and glue it to the card base. Cut the Basic Black cs strip and glue it across the bottom of the DSP.

Cut two 4″ pieces of the Basic Black Scalloped Ribbon. Use Tear & Tape to attach one piece of ribbon along the bottom overlapping the Basic Black cs strip and the other along the top.

Cut the Rococo Rose cs banner panel and flag it with the Triple Banner Punch. Use a sponge dauber to add Rococo Rose ink to the edges of the banner. Stamp the web image from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set with Smoky Slate ink. Then stamp the spider image from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set in Memento Black ink. Add Wink of Stella to the spider body for sparkle. Attach the banner with the Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to the top of the card front.

Add a 2″ piece of the Basic Black Scalloped Edge ribbon across the banner panel so that it lines up with the ribbon at the top of the card front. Tie a bow with another piece of ribbon. Use a glue dot to attach looped Silver Metallic Thread to the back of the bow and then use more glue dots to attach the bow & thread to the banner panel.

Die cut the word from the Wicked Dies from Rococo Rose cs. Use a sponge dauber to add Rococo Rose ink to the die cut word’s edges. Use glue to attach the die cut word to the bottom of the card front across the Basic Black cs strip and ribbon. Use the dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blend to color rhinestones and add them to the banner and on the “i” dot of the Wicked die cut word.

Don’t forget to add a Very Vanilla cs inside panel to write your message. I used a sponge dauber to add Rococo Rose ink to the panel’s edges. I also added a strip of the Monster Bash DSP to the inside panel and back of the card as well as stamped the sentiment & spider from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set in Memento Black ink to pull the theme through.

I hope you enjoyed my #GDP202 Wonderfully Wicked sketch challenge card. The 2019 Holiday Catalog Wonderfully Wicked bundle and Monster Bash DSP will be available in my Online Store on September 4th.
