Friday’s Double Feature: Yeti To Party Card & Tag

This September Stampin’ Up! has six sets of dies that coordinate with 2022-20223 Annual Catalog & July-December 2023 Mini Catalog stamp sets that are Perfect Partners! The Yeti To Party stamp set is a super cute stamp set in the July-December 2023 Mini Catalog and one of the stamp sets to get a coordinating set of dies. For this week’s Friday Double Feature I used the Yeti To Party stamp set and the Perfect Partners Yeti dies to create a card and tag. Card –

Start with a Pool Party cardstock card base with the fun fold score lines. Cut a Pool Party cardstock panel and dry emboss it with the Whimsical Woodland 3D embossing folder, then cut it in half to create two panels. Glue the embossed panels onto the front panels of the card base. Die cut a Petal Pink cardstock scalloped rectangle with the Scalloped Contours Dies. Stamp the snowflake from the Yeti To Party stamp set in Pool Party ink on the Petal Pink cardstock scalloped rectangle. Add Wink of Stella to the snowflakes for sparkle.

Stamp a yeti from the Yeti To Party stamp set in Pool Party ink on Thick Basic White cardstock. Die cut out the yeti with the Yeti dies. Color the die cut yeti with Stampin’ Blends. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the colored yeti to the stamped Petal Pink cardstock scalloped rectangle. Die cut out a Pool Party cardstock scarf with the Yeti dies and then glue it across the yeti.

Cut a Thick Basic White cardstock sentiment panel and stamp the sentiment from the Yeti To Party stamp set in Pool Party ink. Die cut a small Pool Party cardstock scalloped rectangle with the Scalloped Contours dies. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment to the Pool Party cardstock scalloped rectangle and then glue them to the top of the Petal Pink cardstock scalloped rectangle at a slight angle above the yeti. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals (on the left side only) to attach the built Petal Pink cardstock scalloped rectangle to the left embossed panel of the card front. Add Adhesive-Backed Stars to the card front.

Add a Thick Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment and snowflakes from the Yeti To Party stamp set in Pool Party ink and add an embossed Petal Pink cardstock strip to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

Card Measurements:
Pool Party cs card base – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 2 1/8″ and 6 3/8″.
Embossed Pool Party cs panel – 4″ x 5 3/8″ cut in half at 2″ after dry embossing.
Petal Pink cs scalloped rectangle – (2nd largest die) die cut with the Scalloped Contours Dies.
Thick Basic White cs yeti – die cut with the Yeti dies.
Pool Party cs scarf – die cut with the Yeti dies.
Thick Basic White cs sentiment panel – 3/4″ x 1 3/4′.
Pool Party cs scalloped rectangle – (smallest die) die cut with Scalloped Contours Dies.
Thick Basic White cs inside panel – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.
Embossed Petal Pink cs strips – two 1/2″ x 4″ strips.

Tag –

Start with a Sweet Sorbet cardstock tag die cut with the Tailor Made Tags dies. Die cut two Thick Basic White hole strengtheners with the Tailor Made Tags dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Yeti To Party stamp set in Soft Suede ink at the top of the tag but below the hole (make sure that there is room to add the strengthener – I had to trim mine down to fit). Glue the hole strengtheners to both sides of the tag. Stamp the gifts from the Yeti To Party stamp set in Soft Suede ink on the tag.

Stamp the yeti from the Yeti To Party stamp set in Soft Suede ink on Thick Basic White cardstock. Die cut out the yeti and die cut the arm hole with the Yeti dies. Color the yeti with Stampin’ Blends. Stamp the large gift on Thick Basic White cardstock in Soft Suede ink and die cut it out with the Yeti dies. Color the gift with Stampin’ Blends. Add Wink of Stella to the die cut yeti and gift for sparkle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the yeti to the right side of the tag. Use a Stampin’ Dimensional to tuck the die cut gift through the slit above the yeti’s arm. Add Champagne rhinestones to the die cut gift and to the stamped gifts on the tag. Thread & loop Metallic Mesh ribbon through the whole at the top of the tag. Tie a Linen Thread bow around the Metallic Mesh ribbon.

I also stamped the gifts on the back of the tag along with the Stampin’ Up! logo from the Limited Edition stamp set.

Thick Basic White cs hole strengtheners- die cut with the Tailor Made Tags Dies.
Thick Basic White cs Yeti – die cut and die cut arm slit with the Yeti dies.
Thick Basic White cs gift – die cut with the Yeti dies.
Metallic Mesh Ribbon – 10″
