Beside Me With The Round We Go Dies & The Take To The Sky DSP Card

Happy Father’s Day! I have a lovely card created with the Beside Me stamp set, the Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper, and the Round We Go dies. Usually when I create a rosette I use my glue gun but this time I used Stampin’ Dimensionals and then filled the center with retired Crystal Effects and Tear & Tape.

Start with a Gray Granite cardstock card base. Cut a Night of Navy cardstock panel and a Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper. Wrap the Designer Series Paper with Gray Granite Baker’s Twine and tie in a knot. Glue the wrapped Designer Series Paper panel to the Night of Navy cardstock panel and then glue them to the card base.

Die cut three Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper rosettes with the Round We Go dies. Use Tear & Tape to connect the three rosettes and fold the rosettes pieces to create the rosettes. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the bottom of the created rosette to hold it in shape. I filled the middle with retired Crystal Effects. Die cut a Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper larger flower with the Round We Go dies and add it to the middle of the rosette attached with the Crystal Effects. Pull the backing off the Stampin’ Dimensionals and add the rosette to the right side of the card front overlapping the wrapped Baker’s Twine.

Stamp the fishing family image from the Beside Me stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Color the image with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella to the image for sparkle. Fussy cut out the image with paper snips and then use glue to add it to the top of the built rosette. Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment banner and stamp the sentiment from the Something Fancy stamp set in Memento Black ink. Use paper snips to flag the end of the sentiment banner. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment banner to the lower left corner of the card front. Cut a piece of the left over scrap of the Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper rosette. Use glue to tuck the cut scrap under the end of the sentiment banner. Add Opal Rounds Assortment embellishments to the card front.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add a strip of Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper and stamp the sentiment from the Something Fancy stamp set in Memento Black ink on the inside & back of the card to pull the theme through.

Take To The Sky DSP rosette pieces – three die cut with the Round We Go Dies.
Take To The Sky DSP large flower – die cut with the Round We Go Dies.
Basic White cs fishing family – fussy cut with paper snips.
Basic White cs sentiment banner – 3/4″ x 1 1/2″ and fussy cut with paper snips.
Take To The Sky DSP piece – 3/4″ cut from a scrap left over from the rosette.
Basic White cs inside panel – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.
