Adorable Owls Christmas Card

The Sale-A-Bration Adorable Owls stamp set is super cute and one of my January-February 2023 Sale-A-Bration favorites. I made a fun Christmas card using one of my go to card layouts. I used the fabulous Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper, the Timber 3D embossing folder, the sentiments from the Sweet Candy Canes & a heat embossed candy cane with an owl from the Adorable Owls stamp set to create this Christmas card. Start with a Soft Succulent cardstock card base. Cut a Crumb Cake cardstock panel and a Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper panel. Dry emboss the Crumb Cake cardstock panel with the Timber 3D embossing folder. Glue the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper panel layered on the embossed Crumb Cake cardstock panel. Wrap the panels across the Designer Series Paper & cardstock transition with Soft Succulent Satin Shimmer ribbon using Stampin’ Seal to secure the ends to the back of the panels. Glue the wrapped panels to the card base.

Die cut a Basic White cardstock stitched banner with the Stylish Shapes dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Sweet Candy Canes stamp set in Polished Pink ink on the left side of the stitched banner. Use Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (only on each end) to attach the stamped stitched banner slightly to the left side of the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon.

Slip a die cut, stamped, and heat embossed with Clear embossing powder candy cane under the right side of the stitched sentiment banner hooking the top of the candy cane over the top of the stitched sentiment banner. Stamp the owl from the Adorable Owls stamp set in Early Espresso ink on Basic White cardstock. Color the owl with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella to the owl’s eyes. Fussy cut out the owl with paper snips. Cut a small strip (3/4″ x 2″) of Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper and stamp the bow tie of the owl with Early Espresso ink on the Designer Series Paper strip. Use paper snips to fussy cut out the bow tie and use glue to add it to the fussy cut colored owl. Use Glue Dots to add the owl to the stitched sentiment banner overlapping the candy cane. Add Iridescent rhinestones to the card front and stitched sentiment banner for extra sparkle.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Candy Canes stamp set in Polished Pink ink and added a strip of Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
